Does the name Coty ring a bell? How about Calvin Klein, Baby Phat or Marc Jacobs. That’s right, Coty, Inc. is the world’s largest fragrance company, their main businesses are fragrance, skin care, color cosmetics and toiletries. They’re also very well known for their collaboration with big names such as Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Shania Twain.

The company was created in 1904 by Francois Coty in Paris, although it is now based in New York City. The brands are divided into two divisions, Coty Beauty which includes Adidas, Esprit, Miss Sixty, Celine Dion and Rimmel while Coty Prestige has Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Sarah Jessica Parker and David and Victoria Beckham (Beckham Signature).

Without a doubt, Calvin Klein is one of the most, if not the most popular brand out of all Coty, Inc’s brands with good reason. They have great marketing tactics, and you know a CK ad when you see one – it’s unique and stands out. Winners of the Pride Toronto contest will get a ck gift set that includes a sweet bag, a bottle of eau de toilette and a designer t-shirt.

And hey – mega-hunk Sawyer from Lost (well okay, Josh Holloway) is the face of the Davidoff Cool Water fragrance. That’s kind of badass.
