The Sartorialist at Holt Renfrew

Last night, it seemed as if all of Toronto’s fashionistas were out in full force and attending this event at Holt Renfrew. Scott Schuman, the man behind the popular street-fashion blog The Sartorialist made a stop in Toronto – with the event featuring an exhibit of some of his work.

During Scott Schuman’s speech (which was obviously being ignored by a lot of people constantly chatting in the background), he made a point to mention that he is not a blogger: “I consider myself as a fashion photographer, blogging was easy and inexpensive to do – the quality and consistency of the work is what is important.”

It was definitely an evening for people to come out and network, look beautiful and enjoy free alcohol. And there is no doubt that if some of those people had been seen in the streets by Scott Schuman, they would have ended up on his blog.
