20 Questions with Liz Trinnear

Liz Trinnear is the one of the latest and greatest additions to the Much Music family (she won the latest Muck VJ Search 2.0). This quirky Aquarius likes music, loyalty and her amazing job. She has more than 5000 fans on facebook and is loved for her original fashion sense. Read below and share in the girl crush.

1. What is your dream of happiness?
Bold first question, may have to get a bit cheesy on this one: To live a life surrounded by loved ones, friends and family, where haters aren’t welcome. A life with no regrets and plenty of adventure. To live in a world of peace with no war where money is not a worry and poverty did not exist.  Where disease was non-existent and our environment was beautiful not damaged. Lastly, where death did not exist and life went on forever. Now that my friend, would be the ultimate dream of happiness.

2. Blonde or Brunette?
Seeing that I am a blonde and love Scandinavian countries, I would say blonde but Brunette’s are equally as rad. Now, if there was a red head that question, it would be a real tough 3 way call (re: Florence Welch) … I love them all!

3. What is the quality you like most in a man?
Loyalty… I’m a sucker for that.

4. What do you fear most?
Death…

6. What’s your biggest regret?
A good friend once said “no regrets, just life lessons.” I’m sticking with that. The word regret itself brings negative energy and that’s wasted energy that could be spent doing positive things. Did that even make sense?

7. What’s your fave bar or club in the world?
Anything with great music, great people and a patio

8. What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
People. I contemplated music but people make music and I cannot live without them so people it is.

9. What are the 3 musicians dead or alive you’d like to see perform?
Extremely hard question: Frank Sinatra, Sam Cooke, John Lennon

10. What is your favorite decade in music?
70s

11. If you had to choose, would you rather go blind or deaf and why?
I pondered this one and the mere thought of either makes my heart sink. My love goes out to anyone who is deaf or blind.

12. How old is too old?
Age is beauty. With every wrinkle, a story is made.

13. Where do you see yourself in 15 years?
Most likely somewhere in the music industry, madly in love with someone wonderful, with little Lizzy’s running around (terrifying to think but so stoked) and living each day to its fullest. If you aren’t happy, you aren’t living.

14. Who’s your hero?
My parents. They are my protectors, my cheerleaders, my life coaches and most importantly, the reason I’m here today. High 5 to my dad for saying “what’s up” to my mom.

15. What’s your favourite colour?
Green… it’s a pretty sweet colour and I’ve loved it since I was a kid. Matches my eyes too… bonus!

16. What song could you live without ever hearing again?
This could take a while…

17. Metallica or Madonna?
Madonna = Legend

18. What’s your most hated vice?
Drugs. Juliette Lewis said it right: “They are a quick fix solution that don’t fix anything.”

19. Who is the most tragic figure in history?
Impossible to name who “the most” tragic figure in history would be. There’s a bunch unfortunately… but if I had to choose it would be Adolf Hitler.

20. What are the top three live shows you’ve seen in your life?
Again, so many to name. These ones stand out…
