Beth Ditto Solo Project

We’re digging on the new Beth Ditto, of Gossip fame’s solo stuff. First single, “I wrote The Book” is poppy and fun and like so much of what the Gossip do, it’ll probably have many lives in remixes on gay and straight dance floors everywhere.

But the video, which has got to be inspired by Madonna’s “Justify My Love” period, is a gorgeous throwback to the fun part of the 90s. Big hair, matte makeup, peek-a-boo underwear, black and white, minimal beats and glamour. We love love love it. Fresh to death.
