20 Questions With St. Mandrew

Mandrew is playing alongside cousin and label mate, JFK (of MSTRKRFT fame) at the MOD club for the Teenage Riot party this Friday, March 4th. We like Mandrew because he’s a fun guy to drink with into the wee hours, he hates all the things that we do and he lived in Osaka (the Montreal) of Japan a few years back and that makes us super jealous.

1. What is your dream of happiness?

Living life passionately with as few regrets as possible.

3. What is the quality you like most in a person?

Cliche, but really if you don’t have a sense of humor, we are not going to like each other at all.

4. What do you fear most?

Fear, itself

6. What’s your biggest regret?

Never studying culinary arts. That and I always feel bad about de-clawing our cats. Pretty mean.

10. What is your favorite decade in music?

90s. I know how insane that sounds and don’t get me wrong; I love and listen to everything from 60s to present. Even some classical here and there. But I find I listen to 90s stuff the most. Hip-hop, House and Techno were all so good to me then. I was born in 1980 so my entire teenage years were lived in that decade. It was a golden era for me.

11. If you had to choose, would you rather go blind or deaf and why?

I hate this question. I’d rather fight whoever was giving me this option til one of us one was dead.

Never

13. Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

Ill be 45. That’s all I know.

I could easily live without hearing a lot of songs ever again.
