Swing, Sing & Shine: Swarovski Spring/Summer ’12

“Swing, Sing and Shine” is the name of the game for Swarovski Spring/Summer 2012; with the flashing lights of the paparazzi and click of the camera as the inspiration for the season… can you say ACTION. The collection tells a story of a versatile young lady who is growing from an ambitious student into a glamourous leading lady ready for the spotlight; the tale comes to life with modern and vintage styling, in soft pastels colours, spherical and floral references, which is a nod to the golden era of the ‘60s.

The modern touches are seen in the mixing of elements – from ribbon to crystal pearls and even enamel; a clever way to put a modern twist on classic styles.

Swarovski has all its bases covered with everything from eyewear to even perfume, showing they are keeping up with the times, and making sure there is something for everyone!!

Swarovski didn’t forget the men either with cuff links, pendants/charms, bracelets and necklaces. With a mixture of elements – crystal, onyx and even mother of pearl… I even peeped some killer skulls reminiscent of Alexander McQueen .
