THE BLONDE PONCHO: ASAP ROCKY

First off rap crews are coming back hard and a lot are getting major hype. *Cough*  Odd Future *Cough* But lately all we’ve been paying attention to is the ASAP crew (Always Strive and Prosper).

And our favourite member? ASAP ROCKY.

I love it when the hype is  real, and this is the realest. Every since Purple Swag and Peso were released we haven’t been able to take our eyes off him. Now we are warning you that you should do that same. It’s basically 2012, time to discover new music and ways of life. So we’re saying start preaching to Rocky’s choir. All hail the ASAP.

There are certain things that are great about the kid, I say kid cause he was born in ‘88. He’s been rapping since he was eight. He rocks Easy E braids. Wikipedia tells me he often stylizes his Asap with a Ke$ha dollar sign. He’s cute as pie. He has real flow. But my fav thing is that he is SMART. When you listen to him speak in interviews you can tell he knows what he has going on for himself and he’s about to capitalize big in 2012. No games, just talent.  SO REFRESHING.

Although he isn’t Canadian he can still take up a part next to Drake in our hearts.

PS. funny we should mention Drake because they’re getting together for the Paradise Club Tour, no Canadian dates released yet  BUT BUT BUT he will be in Toronto January 27th (our girl iluvlola has a hand in it too).
