Blog Hunter: DaLish Summer Beauty Guide Part 2
Welcome to Part 2 of the DaLish guide to getting your skin summer ready. Part 1 gave you tips on how to take care of the inside so now we’re moving onto prepping the outside. Here are my 3 go-to DIY no time recipes that you can do at home to get that summer glow for hair, face and body.
Super-Shiny Hair Avocado Mask
1/2 mashed avocado
1 tablespoons of almond oil
It should look like guacamole, and will make your hair beautiful and shiny.
Avocado Exfoliating Face Scrub
1/4 Avocado Mashed
1 tablespoon full of light Brown Sugar
Mash avocado into a smooth paste and add the brown sugar. Massage a generous helping of face-scrub into the skin in upward/outward circular motions. Can be used 2-3 times weekly. This recipe is enough for 1 treatment.
Beach Body Scrub
1/2 cup finely grained sea salt
1/2 cup finely ground coffee beans post coffee brew
1/4 cup Sesame oil Accordingly
In a small bowl, mix the salt, coffee, and sesame. Use the scrub in the shower while standing out of the waters reach. Massage it into damp skin. Take your time to activate the ingredients. Rinse well. The sea salt will polish and retexture the skin, coffee beans will help firm the skin and fight cellulite and the sesame oil will soften and nourish the skin. Makes 1 1/2 cups, enough for 3 treatments.
Grocery list for the recipes:
1 ripe avocado
Bag of brown sugar – must be finely ground light brown sugar
1 bottle of Sesame oil
1 bottle of Almond oil
Coffee grounds after being brewed
