NXNE Guide to 4am License

Probably one of the most anticipated summer events to hit Toronto, North to Northeast is back for it’s 18th year of all things awesome. Seven long days of  Live Music, Film Festivals, and music conferences for professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Honestly, with approximately 300,000 attendees in attendance, countless venues, TONS of bands from all over the world. This week is intense.

So due to the vast amount of performances, we’re aware that you may be scratching your head wondering where to go, where to start, and what to do so as not to waste any moment. Relax, sit back, we’ve done all the digging for you and have put together a complete guide as to where you need to be and when for June 14-17 in order to bask in the glorious sounds of the best and greatest.

Where to go and what to do?

We strongly suggest making it out to Wrongbar, Crawford, Lee’s Place, and The Horseshoe Tavern for NXNE because they have a GREAT line up. Dundas Square is going to be amazing and spending the earlier part of the evening there before heading out to the bars to take advantage of the 4am licence is also a pretty solid idea.

TIP: If you say “Pink Mafia” at the door at Wrong Bar at 2am, you’ll be gauranteed free entry and line bypass :)

We’ve picked out some choice bands to check out because of their awesomness. Here is a list of sets and venues for you to check out from Thursday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16. Oh, and you’re welcome.
