Ahh .. Pride 2012 is FINALLY.. offically.. HERE! I for one am incredibly excited for all the fabulous events happening this year. This blog is “PART 1″. I highlight a sex party for women/trans folk, plus four kick ass parties during the Pride 2012 weekend.

Wet Wednesdays is the last Wednesday of every month. June 27th will be the next one. It’s a $20 entry fee for all night access, from 8 pm to 1 am. The sounds of O yes Yes YES … are common everywhere from the pool deck to the bathroom stalls. The Oasis Aqualounge is a massive venue. It is located at 231 Mutual St, just east of Carlton and Church. It is “a beautifully restored 19th century mansion.” This venue offers a variety of ammenities including a “hot-tub, dry sauna and year round outdoor heated pool with private courtyard” just to name a few. The Flirt Weekend

Two Premium events by I am the Life occur during the Pride 2012 weekend. Both events are at Screen Lounge , second floor 20 College Street (College and Carlton) and will be open to all kinds of teasing, seduction and romance.

Sat June 30th: Tease : hosted by 90s Rap Icon Da Brat

“Tease” is “designed to treat you like the celebrity that you are.” DJ Lissa Monet and Infamous Sound Crew will be spinning “the best of the hits from today and the 90s.” The Screen longue offers “sophisticated decor, premium bar and specially designed flirt treats” to make sure “you’ll be WELL taken care.”

Sunday July 1st : Wink: Beach in the City!

You are cordially invited to enjoy “the sun, the heat, your summer swag, cocktails, music and a rooftop patio overlooking the city.” Screen Lounge will be taking it’s top off and it will be transformed “from night club to the perfect patio to flirt and tease.” The “Wink DJs” will be “playing the best of all genres for ten hours.” It’s quite a line up of DJ Cozmic Cat, L’Oqenz, Infamous Sound Crew, and Aneela Q. Cherry Bomb Bonus

Cherry Bomb is celebrating their 5th Year Anniversary Edition on Saturday June 23rd.Resident DJs and producers Dj Cozmic Cat and Denise Benson spin tunes that have been making the grrlz and bo(i)yz come back year after year. I love it when they turn the music right down and the crowd goes nuts screaming out whatever song that was just playing, making your ears say thank you the next morning.

The dancing starts the bouncing along to the rhythm and the grooving vibe spun through the music. Joining in the celebration are DJ JERUS NAZDAQ and MC Jazz. It will be held at Andy Poolhall 489 College Street. I have said it before, and I will say it again: This venue really could be a location for a porn shoot. Its ” Red and Amber” mood lighting and flickering candles meet the dramatic bright lights over the pool tables, the couches are comfortable and the tables are lined up in a neat row. The eclectic furniture evokes the question: what ELSE does this thing do? Also,   the washrooms are amazing. I know, a funny thing to comment on, but it’s true. Each stall has its own sink and they are HUGE. Often I have seen two people head in together, then a third joins. All of this makes ut a perfect spot to “…dance, sweat and cruise.”

Ready for “a totally rad, two-floor celebration” Well Cherry Bomb wants to celebrate Queer Pride with you! 4 DJs, 2 live acts and stunning decor and lighting installations by cirQlar.

It will be held at The Revival Bar at 783 College Street. This space designed for large, happy and dancing crowds. Resident Dj’s Cozmic Cat and Denise Benson intend to “…set fire to the dance floor …” Joining them presenting live performances, ROUGE an Electro-synth, riot-girl dance trio, URVAH KHAN . Rocker, rapper, high-energy performer.
