Blog Hunter: DaLish Cosmetics Part IV

Welcome back for our fourth and final part of the DaLish Cosmetics series for Pink Mafia.

Here we show you how to take the summer makeup day look from Part III, and transition it with three easy steps into the perfect look for a summer evening out.

To create the evening look, we only made three small changes to the day look and we only used one extra product, meaning you can do this super quickly and be ready to move on to whatever exciting plans await you at night.

Eyes: In the summer it can be better to keep your make up on the lighter side, and to have some fun with it. All we did to change up the eyes was take the same shade of gold shadow (our gel-to-powder product means no creasing in the heat!) that we used to line the upper lids for the day look, and applied some more — this time across the whole lid — to create a light smokey effect. We also added a little bit of the gold shadow to the area just under the eyes to really help the colour pop.

Cheeks: Here we added a little bit of our Hot Mama Lip/Cheek balm and blended it with a finger. With this product, a little goes a long way, so we just layered a tiny bit on top of the bronzer that we had already applied for the daytime. This technique creates a little bit more depth for our nighttime look.

Lips: For the lips we used the exact same product that we used for the cheeks, Hot Mama Lip/Cheek Balm, we just used a lot more of it. For the cheeks, our motto was “a little goes a long way,” but that is definitely not our motto for the lips! We applied it liberally with a lip brush, but you could also apply it directly — just make sure you are using enough to draw lots of attention right to your lips!
